Katie Taylor has lived in Presque Isle for most of her life and considers herself one of the area's biggest fans. She can't imagine a more perfect career than working with long time friends and neighbors and bringing new faces to the beautiful community she loves.

Katie grew up just steps from the Lakeshore Realty office, reaping all of the benefits of childhood in northern Michigan. She spent her childhood summers swimming, biking, picking wild strawberries and studying nature and her teenage summers salmon fishing, working at the historic Fireside Inn and spending time at the lake. Upon high school graduation in 2003, Katie attended Alpena Community College before moving to Mesa, Arizona.

While in Arizona, Katie worked as an Executive Assistant to the Regional Vice President of a global company in the semiconductor industry and spent her free time traveling through Arizona, hiking, exploring historical sites, and camping. In 2009, when she and her husband Kyle started a family, Katie returned to her hometown of Presque Isle to raise her two daughters in the beautiful, safe, warm community of her youth and join in the family real estate business. Katie enjoys local history, fishing, boating, fitness, cooking, blogging and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.

Now in her fifth year at Lakeshore Realty, Katie achieved sales of $3.69 million dollars for 2015, ranking in the top three among all real estste salespersons in Alpena and Presque Isle Counties combined, and the top real estate salesperson in Presque Isle County.*

She prides herself on her technical savvy, creative negotiating skills, friendly, down to earth demeanor and vast local knowledge.
